Education & Experience

  • Patrick graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. During his university studies, he worked with the Apple Research Partnership Program, consulting with several professors from the Cognitive Science Department in the Faculty of Arts and the Computer Science department in the Faculty of Science to develop artificial intelligence, cognitive science and biomedical applications on the Apple Macintosh.
  • Patrick works at Open Text Corp. as an IT Manager and Team Leader in Networks where he is responsible for capacity planning, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining the corporate IT network infrastructure and operations as well as providing technical and strategic leadership to the Network Team. Prior experience includes Hummingbird and Infodesign, both acquired by Open Text and Honeybee Technologies.
  • Patrick has developed medical apps on iPhones and iPads. Patrick has technical certifications and training in ITIL v3 Foundation and Cisco Internetworking design, advance routing and secure virtual private networks. He completed his Executive MBA program at The University of Western Ontario’s Richard Ivey School of Business in 2013.
